Necessity means something that we need that can/is useful in a way to us.
2. In your own words, define "luxury."
Luxury means like a meaningless object that seems like has a value but it really doesn't.
3. List 5 materials items you posses that you consider a necessity( aside from food,water, shelter,air)
Computer, education, clothes, technology, car
4. List 5 materials items you posses that you consider luxury
Expensive devices(Tv,Headphones, phones), jewelry , traveling, Makeup products, clothes (expensive)
5. Choose one item from your list of necessity and explain why it is a necessity
On item from my list that is necessity is Computers. Computers is one the most important sources that we have at this moment. We get many things done by the help of it and by technology as well.
6. Make an argument for why the item from question 5 could be considered a luxury.
A Computer can be consider a luxury at times because theirs many different type of computes and prices. They can cost a big amount of money based on their brand or its size its self.
A consumer is a person who purchases goods and services for personal use.
7. Can a person consume too much (in terms of material goods, not just food)?
A person can consume too much material goods, by over buying or getting certain things that are practically useless.
8. How does consumption negatively impact the city/country/world?
Pollution and global warming are some negative consumption can impact the city, country and the world .
